Delicious Thai BBQ Pork Salad Recipe

Flavors of Thai BBQ Pork Salad, a refreshing and satisfying dish that combines grilled pork with crisp vegetables and a tangy Thai dressing. This salad is perfect for summer gatherings or as a light and flavorful meal any time of the year.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb pork tenderloin, thinly sliced
  • For the marinade:
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp fish sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey or preferred sweetener
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp grated fresh ginger
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • For the salad:
  • 4 cups mixed salad greens (such as lettuce, spinach, or arugula)
  • 1 cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 carrot, shredded
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves, chopped
  • 1/4 cup roasted peanuts, chopped (optional for garnish)
  • For the dressing:
  • 1/4 cup lime juice (about 2 limes)
  • 2 tbsp fish sauce
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey or preferred sweetener
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, fish sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, and red pepper flakes for the marinade.
  2. Add sliced pork tenderloin to the marinade, ensuring all pieces are coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours.
  3. Preheat grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the marinated pork slices for 3-4 minutes per side, or until cooked through and charred slightly. Remove from heat and let rest.
